Description
While the computer is set to Intel® Dual Display Clone mode, DVD playback may become choppy or not smooth after running several minutes in the Windows Media Center* application.

To check the current display mode, use these steps:

  1. Open the Intel® Graphics Properties window by pressing the Ctrl+Alt+F12 keys or by right-clicking on the Windows desktop and selecting Graphics Properties.
Note For new drivers click on Display > Multiple Displays.
For additional methods, see How to open the Intel® Graphics Properties window.
  2. On the Display Devices tab, check whether the Operating Mode is set to Intel® Dual Display Clone (see Figure 1).

Note For new drivers check whether the Operating Mode dropdown menu is set to Clone Displays (see Figure 1a).
If the computer only has one display device the Operating Mode will only have an option for Single Display mode.
