This page contains a list of the tested operating systems for the Intel® Workstation Board WX58BP. This Intel Workstation Board does not support operating systems not listed below.

Windows Server* 2003 or 2008

The Intel® Workstation Board WX58BP does not currently support Windows Server 2003 or 2008. No plans exist for making drivers available for these operating systems.

Windows XP*

For PCI Express* capability, you must use Windows XP with Service Pack 2, which includes support for PCI Express.

Notes
  1. An error occurs when recording audio. A workaround is to terminate pulseaudio process by executing the killall pulseaudio command in the terminal window.
  2. Requires LAN drivers from SLES
  3. An error occurs when recording audio: arecord: pcm_read:1489: read input/output error. A workaround is to remove pulseaudio by executing the yum remove pulseaudio command in the terminal window.
