How do I check the electromigration current limit in MAX 10 devices?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

If you want to check the allowable I/O DC current in terms of electromigration in MAX® 10 devices, you can use the DC_CURRENT_FOR_ELECTROMIGRATION_CHECK assignment in the Quartus® Prime software in the same way as for MAX II and MAX V devices.

For example, when an output pin with the name AOUT is expected to draw 10mA, use the following assignment:

set_instance_assignment -name DC_CURRENT_FOR_ELECTROMIGRATION_CHECK -to AOUT 10
