Description
Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime software version 16.1, Critical Warnings for dedicated HPS IO voltage mismatch may be erroneously generated for Arria® 10 HPS shared IO pins.
- The legality check in the Quartus Prime software version 16.1 erroneously compares the VCCIO_HPS setting to the pins in the HPS shared IO48.
- The VCCIO_HPS setting must the IO voltage in HPS dedicated IO.
Resolution
This critical warning can be ignored in the 16.1 Quartus Prime software if:
- VCCIO_HPS matches the voltage on HPS dedicated pins
- The VCCIO on the relevant shared IO bank matches the IO standard on the HPS Shared IO Pin
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus Prime software.
